It is a hybrid between the cross Amrapali X Vanraj developed by Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow. Fruits of this variety are attractive and with red-blush. Fruit have high TSS (240 Brix) and high carotenoids content. Pulp is firm. Variety is regular bearer and plants are dwarf in stature.
